CMIC 2013 Summer Summit to Be Convoked in Xi¡¯an
The CMIC Summer Summit, held in China¡¯s renowned MICE destination cities in June or July every summer, is a branch of China Meetings Industry Convention. In 2012, it was ceremoniously held in Chengdu. Since the summer summit is characterized by small scale, high level, high degree of internationalization, networking and so on, hosts have been inherently building it into a famous brand in the meetings industry.
At the Fifth China Meetings Industry Convention, the CMIC 2012 Committee signed a contract with Xi¡¯an Municipal Bureau of Tourism Administration, based upon a consensus reached over the holding of CMIC 2013 Summer Summit in China¡¯s time-honored city--Xi¡¯an.
At the present time, all preparations for this summit are under way on both parties, with a view to driving it to keep advancing in a high-level and international fashion, grounded on Xi¡¯an City¡¯s MICE industry, which aims to promote more conferences that are in line with the City¡¯s traits to be held there.
Additionally, this summit will be hosting pre-arranged appointment programs for buyers and hotels, and symposium on the development of Xi¡¯an City¡¯s MICE development. A special magazine for this conference will be published, along with the opening ceremony of Xi¡¯an meetings channel, education for conference talents and such like. All these steps are expected to further integrate meetings resources within Xi¡¯an meetings industry, thereby securing a quality development.
Xi¡¯an is famous as a world¨Clevel tourism city. It is currently preoccupied with the cause of building itself into a city for international business meetings and incentives. Under this backdrop, the holding of CMIC 2013 Summer Summit is bound to accelerate its steps on the city building.
