CMIC 2013—an Integrated Platform for Meetings Industry Upgraded

Since the implementation of “Eight Regulations” issued by China’s central government at end of last year, meetings industry has been in a campaign of transformation and all factors in the industry chain have sought repositioning for the changed market and for the greater development.

It is reported that CMIC 2013 is to be held from 2-4 of Dec. at CNCC, which goes firmly in accordance with the new “Eight Regulations”.  And theme of CMIC 2013 is “Deeper Exploring, More Opportunities and A Brighter Future”, focusing on every factor of meetings industry and building up a high-end platform for it

According to industry sources that China’s meeting industry has faced various opportunities as well as challenges as the “Eight Regulations” has come into force. All industry factors, including, have sought new ways to create better future through repositioning.

Destinations focus on building up international brands; Meeting Planners try best to promote “new style of meeting” to make meetings more practical and cost-saving; Venues pay high attention to innovation and look for ways to catch more business opportunities; incentive firms work hard to promote customers’ value; and technology suppliers are all looking for more business opportunities as well as new ways to improve profitability. Under the “Eight Regulations” CMIC 2013 is to show the highest professionalism and serve the best performance to all attendees through its largest platform in China’s meetings industry.

According to committee of CMIC 2013, the convention will draw over 1,700 attendees from around the world, including 1,300 meeting planners and over 200 exhibitors--all make CMIC 2013 the largest annual event in China’s meetings industry. Besides, CMIC 2013 launches a couple of new events, including the new 4-in-1 model of “meetings, exhibitions, matchmakings and educations”, fusion of “on-site matchmaking and pre-arranged appointment” and over 30 high-end networking.
